The Policy Center for Roma and Minorities in Romania is our partner of the week!
The Policy Center implements the Aflatoun curriculum for vulnerable children in Bucharest in the Ferentari area, that has a large Roma population. The organisation was founded in 2008 and it started piloting the Aflatoun programme in its Alternative Education Clubs in 2010. In February 2015 the Center started implementing the curriculum in schools and currently teaches the programme in 16 schools and education centres with 40 teachers.
