We are proud to announce that we were selected as one of the most impactful and scalable innovations in K12 education by internationally renowned education nonprofit HundrED and featured in their Global Collection.
HundrED’s annual Global Collection annually highlights 100 of the most impactful innovations in K12 education from around the world. The goal is to inspire a movement by helping pedagogically sound, ambitious innovations spread and adapt to multiple contexts across the world.
To make this year’s Global Collection, a shortlist of innovations was reviewed by 150 Academy Members consisting of academics, educators, innovators, funders, and leaders from over 50 countries. In total, there were 3404 reviews by the Academy based on their impact and scalability that were then evaluated by HundrED’s Research Team to make the final selection.
Aflatoun International was chosen due to its impact made by delivering engaging and dynamic curricula around social and financial education for children and young people and due to its successful Social Franchise Model which enables to reach over 10.5 million children worldwide.

The news has been announced during the HundrED Global Innovation Summit which is taking place on 4th – 6 th of November. This high-profile event brings together thousands of educators, researchers, policy leaders, education ministries, students, parents, and those interested in improving education.
