Friday, February 21, 2025, marked a special occasion to highlight the success of the Aflatoun Social and Financial Education Program in Tunisian primary schools. The program, implemented by Enda Tamweel in partnership with the Ministry of Education since 2019, continues to make a significant impact.
In the presence of journalists and correspondents from local and international media, the inauguration ceremony of the renovated Douali Primary School was held. Under the supervision of facilitator Fathia Ben Aissa, members of the Aflatoun Club meticulously and professionally organized the event. Guests were warmly welcomed with flowers, and the atmosphere was enriched by vibrant artistic performances that added a festive touch to the occasion. The attendees were then given a tour of the newly renovated and decorated school, which has been transformed into a bright and inviting educational space, far from its previous state of neglect.
The Aflatoun Club members captivated the audience with a theatrical performance reflecting the values and skills promoted by the program. This showcase impressed attendees and demonstrated the club’s vital role in raising awareness and fostering life skills among students.
The Aflatoun Club serves as a pioneering model in shaping a conscious and responsible generation capable of leading sustainable development through early entrepreneurial thinking. This event was also an opportunity to highlight and acknowledge Enda Tamweel’s efforts in supporting the education sector in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. Their work reinforces their role as an active contributor to achieving sustainable development goals, particularly in ensuring quality education.
