Community leaders, young people, women, artisans and farmers were trained on financial management and resource planning.
Under the patronage of the Head of Zoungbomè District, Romain MONTCHO, the Network of Organisations for Social and Financial Education in Benin (ROPESF-BENIN) organised an important training session on social and financial education on Saturday, 9 May, at the meeting room of the Zoungbomè District office.
The initiative brought together several social and professional groups from the district and surrounding areas. These included community leaders, development actors, farmers, artisans, young people and women. They all came to strengthen their skills in financial management and personal development.
At the opening of the session, District Head Romain MONTCHO welcomed the strong turnout and the community’s interest in the activity. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of social and financial education in improving household living conditions and promoting sustainable local development.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the well-being of the people of Zoungbomè. He encouraged participants to make good use of the knowledge gained during the training.
The session was led by Dr Eugène AGUEMON, the main trainer. The training helped participants better understand the basics of social and financial education, responsible resource management, savings and financial planning.
Through interactive discussions, practical advice and real-life examples, participants gained useful tools to better manage their economic activities and income.
Participants said they were very satisfied with the quality of the training. They thanked District Head Romain MONTCHO for an initiative they described as valuable for community development.
Convinced of the importance of the training for the stability and growth of their activities, they promised to apply the lessons learned to improve their living conditions and those of their families in the long term.
