Socially and economically empowered children and young people who act as agents of change in their own lives for a more equitable world.
AFLATOT The early years of a child offer a unique opportunity to shape their development. In the Aflatot curriculum three to six year-olds gather the building blocks of social and financial literacy before they reach primary school.
In response to the rapid evolution of digital finance, there’s a pressing need for a dedicated curriculum tailored to youth interested in exploring digital finance and cryptocurrency. This curriculum will offer an in-depth understanding of the technology, networks, and platforms underpinning cryptocurrencies, alongside insights into the economics of virtual currencies. By merging new technologies with financial literacy, the curriculum promises a distinctive educational journey. Topics covered range from the history of cryptocurrency to blockchain technology, the evolution of money, cybersecurity, and the transformative impact of cryptocurrency on the financial landscape.
Therefore, we partnered with ORCA Foundation to develop the curriculum, fostering enduring expertise in digital finance and cryptocurrencies. The finalised curriculum will be translated into French, Russian, Arabic, and Spanish, with further translations targeted to broaden its reach across diverse regions.
The curriculum has been piloted in Botswana, Vietnam, and El Salvador.
