An Event Exploring Empathy, Inquiry, and Youth Decision-Making Hosted by the Aamaal Institute.

Recognizing the challenging circumstances in Iran, we created an event aimed at equipping children and young adults with the tools to express their emotions and find strength. Accordingly, the Aamaal Institute hosted two events, one tailored for children and another for teenagers:

How many facets does the world have?

An Event Exploring Empathy, Inquiry, and Youth Decision-Making Hosted by the Aamaal Institute.

On the last day of May 2026, Aamaal provided a platform for creative and enthusiastic adolescents to engage in meaningful dialogue. The event, “How Many facets Does the World Have?” offered participants the opportunity to explore the diversity of perspectives through images, music, and hypothetical scenarios.

The event provided an environment characterized by mutual respect, challenging questions, and a collective effort to develop a deeper understanding of social realities. The adolescents were able to express their varied interpretations of different phenomena and their own roles within them, while learning to see the world through one another’s eyes. It encouraged adolescents to listen before judging and to examine evidence carefully before making decisions.

The event was warmly received by adolescents aged 12 to 15 and by the end of the event, the adolescents decided to join the Aamaal Youth Club and take on the role of “agents of small and large-scale change within their communities”.

The Aamaal Institute for Children and Adolescents celebrates this initiative by the adolescents as a step toward responsibility and positive change.

We are excitedly looking forward to the formation of the Aamaal Youth Club—a space where we hope adolescents will have the opportunity to practice being “agents of change” in their communities.

“What Color Is Your World?” Event at Aamaal Institute

On February 19, the Aamaal Institute hosted “What Color Is Your World?”, an event designed to help children and their parents explore and express emotions.

Grounded in the belief that adult support is crucial for children’s emotional growth, the event offered parallel activities:

For Children (ages 6-9): Children aged 6 to 9 participated in storytelling, games, drawing activities, and the creation of a “Colorful City” (Based on a story of the same name in Aflatot book) to help them recognize and express their emotions. They also learned ways to express their feelings in different situations. These activities were designed to strengthen children’s emotional skills and provide a safe environment in which they could express themselves freely.

For Parents: In a separate session, parents reflected on their own emotions, discussed expression strategies, and learned about strengthening relationships with their children. They were also introduced to the Aamaal Institute’s resources, including the Aflatot book series, aimed at building essential life skills and responsibility.

This event initiated plans for upcoming “parent reading sessions,” dedicated to continuous learning and enhancing parenting skills.
Ultimately, “What Color Is Your World?” represented another stride in connecting education with child empowerment and bolstering parental capabilities.
