In August 2015, an Aflateen specific training was conducted over 6 days as part of an EU grant to Plan Egypt, in cooperation with Plan Ireland. Aflateen is part of a larger programme on Unicef’s Voices of Youth. The objectives of the training were to make participants:
– Familiar with Aflateen programme and content.
– Familiarized with education and training methodologies with special focus on active methods and tools to work with youth.
– Master a toolkit of interactive, youth-centered techniques to be employed through the delivery of Aflateen modules.
In May 2016, an Aflateen Refresher and mid-year review of the programme implementation in 4 villages in Qaliyubia will be conducted with Plan Egypt International.
