AFLATOT The early years of a child offer a unique opportunity to shape their development. In the Aflatot curriculum three to six year-olds gather the building blocks of social and financial literacy before they reach primary school.
The webinar features the implementation and impact of the Aflatoun program in rural schools in Maharashtra, India. The program was contextualized as an extra-curricular program for primary school students, and the impact on their skills was examined by randomized evaluation. Speakers will share how the program was designed and implemented, and evidence on how the program influenced children’s confidence, financial skills, aspirations, as well as the role of these skills in fostering foundational learning. The webinar invites anyone interested in the role of life skills in child learning.
