Children begin developing confidence, social skills and decision-making habits long before they enter formal schooling. Providing the right foundations early can shape how they learn, make choices and relate to others.
Through the 2026 Summer Club Programme, Zaha Cultural Center and Aflatoun International brought social and financial education to young children across Jordan.
The programme reached 375 children through 25 Zaha Cultural Center branches in Amman and other governorates. Sessions provided a safe and engaging environment where children could learn while having fun.
Learning through play
The activities were designed around the needs of young learners. Through play and interactive learning, children strengthened their social skills, critical thinking, self-confidence and financial literacy.
This approach makes learning accessible and enjoyable. It also gives children opportunities to express themselves, work with others and think carefully about everyday choices.
Social and financial education at this age is about more than understanding money. It helps children build the confidence and practical skills they need as they grow.
