Partner of the Week: Algerian Network Defense for the Rights of the Children (NADA)

The Algerian Network Defense for the Rights of the Children (NADA) has been defending children’s rights by amplifying their voices and working to improve their living conditions since 2004. Their work encompasses protecting children from all types of risks, such as verbal and physical violence, sexual abuse, social exploitation, and online dangers.

Our Partnership

NADA decided to join the Aflatoun Network in 2018 to gain experience with Social and Financial Education. Through this partnership, NADA applies the Aflatoun curricula and learning methods to support underage youth in acquiring education and guiding them in building a life project. They contribute to empowering learners to become active contributors within their families and in Algerian society in general.

Through the Financial and Social Education Project that NADA implements for disadvantaged youth aged 13 to 18, they aim to support the professional integration of young people through quality training and guidance in realizing their personal life projects.

Learner Testimonies

"I’m 17-year-old young person who left school early, but my passion for the world of cars never left me. Thanks to the NADA Network and the Financial and Social Education Program for unprivileged youth, I was given a real opportunity to get closer to my dream and start achieving what I had always aspired to. Thank you to those who believe in our ability to rise again!"

"I am Souad Azzaiz, 17 years old, currently pursuing training in the field of hotel catering. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the NADA Network for giving me a second chance to join vocational training after having dropped out of school. This dream once felt out of reach, but thanks to your support, it has become a beautiful reality and a new beginning in my life. "
