Be Better in China is focused on financial education for children and young people. The organisation provides education to schools, universities, and district education bureaus. It also consults on teacher training, school management, student performance, and curriculum development.
Be Better has been been implementing the Aflatoun International curricula since 2009. The organisations currently implements the Aflatoun and Aflateen curriculum in Shanghai, Beijing, and 3 other provinces in both formal schools and schools for children of migrant families. The Aflatot programme is implemented on a small scale. Be Better teachers, educators and volunteers can use the online platform Afutong (the Chinese name for Aflatoun) to share their experiences and learnings.
