Fundación EDUCA México, A.C. was officially founded in 1995 in Mexico. Their work focuses on strengthening schools and empowering communities through comprehensive education programmes that transform young people and teachers into agents of change. With a mission to create fulfilled and happy individuals who contribute to sustainable development, EDUCA has been at the forefront of educational innovation for nearly three decades.
EDUCA was established with the vision of moving beyond traditional educational approaches to create holistic learning environments that prepare students for real-world challenges. Their commitment extends to building stronger communities through education that emphasises empowerment, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial thinking as pathways to improved quality of life.
The Centre was established with the vision of bridging cultural gaps and providing quality educational opportunities to children and communities across Jordan. Through their work in both urban and rural areas, they aim to make their programmes accessible to different groups.

Our Partnership
EDUCA has been working together with Aflatoun International for over 15 years. This partnership has enabled the organisation to reach remarkable scale and impact across Mexico’s diverse educational landscape.
Through their partnership with Aflatoun, EDUCA has successfully implemented comprehensive social and financial education programmes that have benefited more than 7,000 students across 14 states in Mexico. Their approach encompasses the full spectrum of Aflatoun’s curricula, AflaTot, AflaToun, AflaTeen, and AflaYouth, reach learners at every developmental stage.

Success Story
A great example of their impact can be seen through their “Ahorra y Emprende” (Save and Entrepreneur) programme, which has been implemented at more than 40 schools. At Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos school in Morelos state, both an educational institution and a children’s home for vulnerable youth, five young people have created the “Todas para una” (All for one) entrepreneurship initiative. This remarkable project combines cultural preservation with economic empowerment, as these young entrepreneurs create traditional huipiles (traditional clothing) whilst training unemployed women to become artisanal candle makers. Their entrepreneurship has become a sustainable source of income that will enable them to pursue university education whilst preserving their cultural heritage.
