Inti-Sisa Foundation is based in Ecuador and has recently joined our partner network.
They create school programmes that help to improve the academic performance of its participants and help build the skills children need to participate responsibly in society.
One of their key activities includes participants creating micro-ventures. This pairs very well with the Aflatoun curriculum that covers savings and budgeting.
Currently, Inti-Sisa is using Aflatoun curriculum in 2 schools in their community. Their Aflatoun club meet once a week.
With high rates of illiteracy, the interactive content is helping to get students excited about learning. Those that have been trained like the interactive approach too, “It show us that there is a different way to engage with students,” Teacher.
