For 13 years, LIFE Nepal has been working towards a society that enables women, children, adolescent girls, youth, and persons with disabilities to exercise their rights to their full potential in order to improve their lives.
The organisation is dedicated to improving the life situation of women, children, adolescents, youth, girls, marginalised communities, Dalits, religious minorities, and persons with disabilities. The mission of LIFE Nepal is to ensure access to essential services including health, nutrition, education, water sanitation and hygiene, child and social protection, and livelihood opportunities. By empowering individuals with knowledge and skill enhancement through technology transfer, participatory approaches, and community engagement, LIFE Nepal strives to create a just and equitable society where everyone can thrive.
Our Partnership
Since 2022, Aflatoun has been partnering with LIFE Nepal to advocate for and implement Financial Education and Life Skills for young people in Nepal. As part of their project “Gender Sensitive Global Citizenship and Life Skills Education for Youth,” they trained 61 students using Aflatoun’s Social and Financial Education curricula. Over the course of 42 sessions, LIFE Nepal covered topics ranging from gender equality, financial literacy, inclusion and access to critical thinking and communication.
