Our Partnership: Empowering Young Minds:
Recognising the long-term economic crisis and growing poverty in the country, our partnership with Pahel Pakistan aims to empower young children by teaching them the fundamentals of social and financial education. Together, we have embarked on an exciting journey to educate and engage students in the significance of financial management and good practices. Since 2022, Pahel Pakistan has successfully implemented our Aflatoun programmes on Social and Financial Education in two elementary schools, impacting the lives of 189 students across six classrooms of participants. This initiative not only benefits the students but also equips the facilitators with valuable experience through Aflatoun’s trainings of trainers.
Empowering Women through the Integrated Aflatoun Programme
Pahel Pakistan has extended the reach of the Aflatoun model to empower women home-based workers in rural areas of district Khairpur and Sukkur. By integrating the Aflatoun programmes into their Women’s Economic Empowerment Project, Pahel Pakistan is providing support to these women who create handicrafts. This initiative not only fosters financial independence, but also helps in preserving traditional craftsmanship while uplifting the communities.
