Sustainable Development Foundation (SDF) was established in 2015 to provide development and humanitarian support and assistance to the most vulnerable groups in Yemen. What started as a voluntary initiative of a group of people in 2003, it has grown into one of the leading organisations in Yemen, that’s entirely focused on the Sustainable Development Goals and humanitarian response. Currently, SDF has seven offices in different governorates in Yemen and works in partnership with many local and international organisations.
Our partnership
SDF has been our partner since June 2020, and are currently implementing the Aflatoun curriculum which is designed as a journey for young people to reflect on their lives, learn to explore issues and problems in society, acquire skills that help them become engaged citizens and enact enterprises and projects with other young people from their communities.
