Tabitha (Dorcas Aid Lebanon) is affiliated with Dorcas Aid International, for whom a key area of intervention is the future for children. Since 2016, Dorcas Lebanon operates in the areas of relief, early recovery, and development, managing relief programmes in both Lebanon and Syria. They collaborate with local CSOs in both countries. In Lebanon, Dorcas is locally registered under the name Tabitha (the direct translation of Dorcas into Arabic) Relief and Development.
Dorcas Aid dedicated to supporting and empowering vulnerable communities by providing immediate humanitarian aid and investing in sustainable, long-term solutions to combat poverty and social exclusion. Through 14 country offices, Dorcas empowers resilient communities where everyone is an active and socially responsible citizen. Each year, Dorcas Aid International reaches over one million people globally. Moreover, in times of disasters or crisis, they provide essential humanitarian assistance and support communities in their rebuilding efforts.

Our Partnership
Since 2018, Dorcas Lebanon has partnered with Aflatoun International to enhance the financial and social education of vulnerable children. Through joint efforts, the two organisations are committed to creating lasting, positive impacts in the lives of children and their communities.
Dorcas Lebanon recently invited a colleague from Egypt to conduct a four-day refresher training for its staff members from both Lebanon and Syria, focused on the Aflatoun methodology. The training’s main objective was to equip participants with the skills to deliver high-quality financial and life skills education to children and youth, necessary to thrive in the ever-changing 21st century..
