Teach for Azerbaijan is actively working to expand equitable access to quality education for every child and youth in Azerbaijan, regardless of socio-economic background or geographical location. By supporting young, motivated teacher fellows to become transformative leaders in education, they nurture critical thinking, creativity and passion in students and teachers.
Through fellowships, school partnerships, leadership training, and community engagement, Teach for Azerbaijan supports inclusive education in rural areas, fosters students’ identity, agency, civic responsibility, and engages children with sustainability.
Our Partnership
Teach for Azerbaijan decided to partner with Aflatoun in 2024 because they understand Social and Financial Education as a key part of preparing children and youth for life’s challenges. Plus, their goals of empowering students with life skills and supporting holistic development aligns with Aflatoun’s approach to education.
Currently, the organisation is training their team and designing a contextualised approach for Social and Financial Education in Azerbaijan. From September 2025, they will be implementing Aflatoun’s Social and Financial Education curriculum as part of their school-based and extracurricular initiatives.
