This weeks’ partner of the week is the University of Carabobo in Venezuela. Its Faculty of Economic and Scientific Sciences (ESS) has been working with Aflatoun International since 2014. The partnership also promotes the academic and scientific improvement of teachers, which is linked to research and extension.
Students mainly participate in creating social and financial enterprises, which offers them a lot of meaning to identify opportunities where there seemed to be only problems. Pupils are proud to be part of the creation of new projects because, in the midst of the economic crisis, Aflatoun’s programmes offer hope to the youngest, generating successful initiatives even if they do not have enough resources.
