Partner Of the Week: Zaha Cultural Centre, Jordan

Zaha Cultural Centre operates across Jordan, with a network of 25 different educational and cultural centres. The organisation is dedicated to fostering cultural development and educational excellence throughout Jordan. Their mission centres on creating accessible learning environments that nurture young minds whilst preserving cultural heritage and promoting social development.

The Centre was established with the vision of bridging cultural gaps and providing quality educational opportunities to children and communities across Jordan. Through their work in both urban and rural areas, they aim to make their programmes accessible to different groups.

Our Partnership

Zaha Cultural Centre implements the AflaTot currica, introducing financial literacy and social awareness to Jordan’s youngest learners. Between April and May 2025, Zaha Cultural Centre successfully implemented aAflaTot training programme across their entire network of 25 centres, reaching 357 children aged 4-6 years. This comprehensive rollout required 12 training hours per centre, demonstrating the organisation’s dedication to thorough programme implementation and quality delivery. Their trainers used programme tools such as stories, pictures, and educational games that make learning both fun and accessible.

One particularly inspiring example of the programme’s impact comes from a participating child who expressed,

“I wish to become like Aflatoun – he has dreams and wishes, respects others, offers help, and has many talents.”
