Fifteen young women and men in Zarqa, Jordan, are building the practical skills and confidence needed to take their next steps towards employment.
In September 2026, the Crown Prince Foundation in Zarqa, in collaboration with Aflatoun International, delivered Employability Skills and Job Market Readiness training for young people aged 18 to 25.
From goals to action
Finding a job can feel overwhelming, especially when young people are unsure which opportunities match their skills and interests.
The training gave participants practical support to make informed choices and prepare for the job market. They explored how to identify suitable career opportunities, understand workplace rights and responsibilities, write a CV and motivation letter, and prepare for job interviews.
The sessions also focused on presenting oneself professionally and building confidence—skills that can make a real difference when applying for a first job or planning a career path.
Confidence matters
Technical skills are important, but young people also need the confidence to recognise their strengths, communicate them clearly and take the next step.
Through this collaboration, the Crown Prince Foundation and Aflatoun International are supporting young people to strengthen their skills, confidence and readiness for work.
