The world is rapidly changing and becoming more complex. It is more important than ever before that children gain social and financial skills to learn to get along and get ahead in life.
Socially and economically empowered children and young people who act as agents of change in their own lives for a more equitable world.
AFLATOT The early years of a child offer a unique opportunity to shape their development. In the Aflatot curriculum three to six year-olds gather the building blocks of social and financial literacy before they reach primary school.
Aflatoun excels in developing, training, and delivering specialized Life Skills and Financial Education curricula. We craft high-quality educational materials tailored to various age groups and contextualized to local needs. Our skills-based curricula cover key competencies and themes, enhancing social and financial knowledge and behaviors in children, youth, teachers, and parents.
In a step forward in our continuous development, Aflatoun has teamed up with the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) to offer an inclusive educational programme. This initiative aims to enhance the life skills, financial literacy, and project management capabilities of children and youth aged 5 to 19. It involves integrating PMIEF’s project management content into Aflatoun’s life skills and financial literacy curricula, tailored to diverse age groups, contexts, and languages.
The project, launched in December 2021, is currently in its third phase and it’s being implemented in El Salvador, Perú, Jordan, Mexico, Yemen, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Ecuador, India, Laos, Palestine.
